Oi pessoas! Um dos lugares que conheci e que as pessoas mais me perguntam sobre é Dubai. Um lugar muito exótico e diferente dos que costumo visitar. No post de hoje vou dar uma dicas de passeios, o que fazer e o que não fazer, já que é um país com cultura muito diferente do Brasil, principalmente por causa da religião. É uma hcidade encantadora e super moderna, toda construída no meio do deserto, confiram:

Hey guys! One of the places I got the chance to visit and that people ask me a lot about is Dubai. It's an exotic place and different from the ones I usually travel to. On today's post I'll tell about some sightseeing, what to do and what not to do, since Dubai's culture is very different from mine, specially due to religion. It's a lovely and modern city, built in the middle of the desert.

Visto / Visa

Antes de qualquer coisa, você precisa conferir se sua nacionalidade exige visto para os EAU (Emirados Arabes Unidos). Apenas as os cidadãos das nações GCC Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar e Arabia Saudita não necessitam de visto. Já os países abaixo, não precisam da requisição de visto, ou seja, no Aeroporto Internacional de Dubai, na imigração, será feito um visto gratuito de 30 dias.

Se sua nacionalidade não se encontra na lista acima, será necessário um visto antes da viagem. A boa notícia é que esse procedimento pode ser feito todo online, através da empresa aérea com a qual você viaja,  do hotel em que você pretende se hospedar ou agencias de viagem. Sei que no Brasil, muita gente faz com a Emirates, empresa aérea de EAU. Para mais informações, clique aqui. No meu caso, fizemos por uma agencia de viagens e foi com ela que também fizemos alguns tours pela cidade, acesse o site aqui. 

Before anything, you're gonna want to check if your nationality needs a visa to the UAE. Only citizens of the GCC nations, such as Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia don't require a visa. The countries bellow don't need a visa requirement or anything like that before the arrival, so when you get the Dubai International Airport, procede to the immigration and your passport will be stamped with a 30-days visa without any charges.

If your nationality isn't on the list above, a visa requirement before your trip will be needed. The good news is that everything can be done online, by the airline company you're going with, by the hotel you are planning on staying or by a travel agency. Na hora de fazer a mala / When packing

Dubai é muuuito calor, afinal, é uma cidade no meio do deserto. Eu recomendo uma visita no inverno, que mesmo sendo inverno, a cidade chega aos 35 graus. Dizem que no verão chega a fazer 50 graus!!! Eu fui em fevereiro (inverno) e gostei do clima. Durante o dia fica calor e a noite fica fresco.

Dubai is reeeeeeally hot once it's a city in the middle of the desert. I recommend visiting in winter, and even it's winter, the temperature gets to 35 degrees celcius. They say that in the summer it gets to 50 degrees celsius!!! I went in February (winter) and I liked the weather. During the day it's hot and in the evening it's cool.

Vestimento feminino / Women's clothes

Na hora de arrumar a mala, se é calor, já penso em short e saias, maaaaaaas, justamente devida a cultura dos Emirados Arabes, você deve tomar muito cuidado com o que usa. Nos hotéis, não há problema algum com o traje feminino, então pode usar short, saia, regata e tudo mais sem medo. O mesmo vale pra praia do hotel, bikini normal. Já nos shoppings e pontos turísticos, eles pedem uma roupa mais coberta... saia até o joelho, os ombros não podem aparecer, nada muito decotado. Então por mais calor que seja, é necessário levar calças ou então saias longas. Nas mesquitas o vestimento é ainda mais rígido, a calça não pode ser muito agarrada e os cabelos não podem ficar a mostra, nesse caso, eu optei por comprar uma burca mesmo, porque não tenho calça larga e não tinha levado nenhum lenço, deixo a critério de cada um, mas a burca nessa caso é uma ótima opção pois ja cobre tudo o que não pode aparecer e é fácil de tirar após a visita.

When I'm packing, if it's a hot place that I'm going to, I always think about shorts and skirts, buuuuuuut, specially because of the United Emirates' culture, you should take really good care on what you wear. On the hotels, there are no restrictions, so you can wear shorts, skirts, tank tops and everything else with no problems. The same goes to the beaches, normal bikinis. But at the shopping malls and tourist attractions, they usually ask for clothes that don't show off your body so much, skirts till your knees, the shoulders can't show. So even it's really hot, you're gonna want to bring some jeans or long skirts. At the mosque, you can't wear pants too tight and your hair can't show, in this case I chose to wear the burka, cause I don't really have any loose pants and I had no scarfs to cover my hair with me, of course you can't choose, but using the burka just to get in the mosque is a good option, cause it covers everything that can't be shown and it's really easy to take it off once you leave. 

O que fazer em Dubai / What to do in Dubai

Burj Khalifa 

O prédio mais alto do mundo!! Vale muito a subida, você ve a cidade inteirinha! O Burj Khalifa é pertinho do Dubai Mall (por fora) e a sua entrada esta localizada dentro do shopping. Para preços e reservas, acesse o site. A vista de la de cima é assim:

The world's tallest building!! It's worth going up till the top, you can't miss it, you get a view of the entire city! The Burj Khalifa is next to the Dubai Mall (from the outside) and you can enter the skyscraper from inside the mall. For prices and reservations, got to the website. The view looks like this:

Dubai fountains

Show de agua com musica que dura aproximadamente 5 minutos! Fica entre o Burj Khalifa e o Dubai Mall e é separado em dois períodos: no período da tarde, todos os dia sem ser sexta-feira, o show acontece às 13h e às 13h30, nas sextas-feiras, às 13h e às 14h; no período da tarde, todos os dias, das 18h até as 23h, de 30 em 30 minutos.

A fountain show with music that takes about 5 minutes! It's located between the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall and it's separated in two periods: the afternoon shows, which begins at 1:00p.m and 1:30p.m daily, except on Fridays, and 1:00 p.m and 2:00 p.m on Fridays; the evening shows, that goes from 6:00 p.m till 11:00 p.m, beginning every 30 minutes (everyday).

Dubai Mall

É o maior shopping do mundo! Todas as lojas e restaurantes que você puder imaginar, você encontra nesse shopping. Pra quem pretende fazer compras, eu sugiro que entre no site e procure a localização das lojas que você quer ir, porque não da pra ficar indo pela sorte hahah é enorme, o pé dói e você descobre que não viu nem um quarto do shopping. Além disso, tem um aquário enorme dentro do shopping e uma pista de gelo para patinação também.

It's the world's biggest mall! It's the place where you can find all the shops and restaurants you can imagine. The ones who are planning on shopping there, I recommend that you go to the website e search for the location of the stores you wish to go to, cause you can't really just walk around and find the stores hahah it's huge, your feet will hurt and you end up finding out that you've only seen one quarter of the shopping mall. Besides that, there is a big aquarium in the mall, as well as a ice skating ring. 

Burj Al Arab

O hotel 7 estrelas fica na praia de Jumeirah, então é claro que circular aos arredores e fotos podem ser feitos/tiradas livremente. Quem quiser entrar no hotel e não estiver hospedado lá, precisa ter uma reserva, The Afternoon Tea e Drinking Package são os meios mais comuns e baratos para se entrar no  hotel. Esse eu não tive a chance de ir, então eu sugiro que vocês acessem o site pra ver preços e comentários de quem ja foi. 

The 7 starts hotel is located at the Jumeirah Beach, so of course being near the hotel and taking pictures can be done with no problem. For the ones who want to get in the hotel, a reservation is needed and The Afternoon Tea and the Drinking Package are the most common and cheapest way to get in. I didn't get the chance to get in the hotel, so I suggest you go to the website for prices and to check the reviews of people who have been there.

Safari no deserto/ Desert safari

Minha parte preferida!! Existem vários tipos de safari, o preço varia e tudo mais. No que nós fomos, o motorista veio nos buscar no hotel e fomos até o deserto, onde começa a aventura haha eles ficam subindo e descendo as dunas, é muuuuito legal! Tem paradas pra tirar foto e tudo mais. Depois, fomos pra um lugar ainda no deserto, andamos de camelo, vimos um show com águia, o por do sol e por fim, tivemos um jantar com comida e apresentação de danças típicas da região! Eu amei!!! Foi uma experiência única. As reservas podem ser feitas através do site, não deixem de fazer esse passeio, sério!

My favourite part!! There are different types of safari, the prices may change and everything. The safari we were in, the driver picked us up at our hotel and we drove till the desert, where the adventure began haha they drive up and down the dunes, it's reeeeally cool! There are stops so you can take pictures and so. After that, we wen't camel ridding, watched an eagle show, the sunset e at last, we had dinner with tradicional food and with a dance presentation. I loved it!! It's was an unique experience. The reservations can be done online at the website, don't miss it, really!

Dubai Museum + Heritage Village

Adorei esse passeio! Você descobre um pouco sobre a historia da cidade, como viviam os antepassados e como surgiu a cidade.

I loved it! You find out a little bit more about Dubai's past, how they lived and how the city was created.

Ilha artifical de palmeira/Artificial Palm Islands

Uma ilha construida todinha pela engenharia humana! É uma coisa única também. A ilha em si é residencial, então tem varias casa, tem um pedaço que é exclusivo do Sheik e no final, você encontra o Atlantis Resort, que tem um parque aquático dentro onde você pode nadar com golfinhos! 

It's an island built entirely by human engineering! It's another unique experience.  The islands is actually residential, so there are many houses and part of it is exclusive for the Sheik. At the end, you'll find the Atlantis Resort, which has a water park and you can swim with dolphins!

Dubai Marina

Um lugar maravilhoso e super moderno! É nessa região que a maioria dos estrangeiros com condições financeira boas moram.

It's an amazing place and very modern! It's where most of the foreigners with a good financial condition live. 

Ski Dubai

Gente, é simplesmente uma pista de ski dentro de um shopping no meio do deserto!!! haha como na época tinha acabado de ir embora da Finlândia, neve não era novidade pra mim... então acabei não indo. Essa pista de ski fica dentro do Mall of Emirates, que também é grande e tem lojas legais. Nós almoçamos em um restaurante com vista pra pista, muuuito bom. Era um restaurante com comida típica árabe, chamado Karam Beirut. 

Omg, it's an indoor ski resort, inside a shopping mall in the middle of the desert!!! haha since at the time I had just left Finland, snow wasn't anything special to me... so I ended up not going. The Ski Dubai is inside the Mall of Emirates, that is also a big shopping mall with cool shops. We had lunch at a restaurant with a view to the ski resort, the food was veeeery good. The restaurant has typical arabic food, it's called Karam Beirut.

Tours particulares/Private tours

Muita gente opta por tours particulares e é justamente isso que eu fiz! Eles te orientam em tudo e oferecem inclusive uma ida e volta pra Abu Dhabi no mesmo dia, pra visitar a Mesquita do Sheik Zayed, o mundo da Ferrari e o Abu Dhabi Palace, que pra quem ja assistiu, aparece no ultimo Velozes e Furiosos hahaha. Já passei pra vocês a agencia com quem a gente escolheu fazer os tours, eu super recomendo!! 

A lot of people choose to do everything with a private tour and that's exactly what we did! They help you, tell you and take you to everything, most of them offer a trip to Abu Dhabi coming back on the same day, and they make stops at Sheik Zayed Mosque, the Ferrari World and the Abu Dhabi Palace, that was shown on the last Fast and Furious haha. I already told you guys the agency we did everything with and I certainly recommend them!!

Região de Jumeirah / The Jumeirah neighbourhood

Essa foi a região em que ficamos hospedados e creio eu que seja uma das melhores de Dubai. Os hotéis tem praias particulares, então todo mundo usa bikini normal! Tem algumas galerias e vaaaarias opções de restaurante por lá! Fiquei hospedada no Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Resort, na parte das residências, então era um apartamento, com quartos, sala, cozinha e uma vista maravilhosa pro mar e dava pra ver a ilha em formato de palmeira certinho. Eu ameiiii o hotel, recomendo mil vezes, quem fica nas residências tem acesso ao resort, que tem piscina e tudo mais e a praia também.

This was the neighbourhood where we stayed at and I believe it's one of the best in Dubai. The hotels have their private beaches, so everybody wears normal bikinis! There are some shopping galleries and many restaurant options. We stayed at the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Resort, at the residence part, so it was like an apartment, there were bedrooms, living room, kitchen e an amazing view to the ocean and to the palm islands. I loved the hotel, of course I recommend it!! The ones who stay at the residences have access to the resort, which has a pool, as well as the beach.
